If you watched the Masterpiece Theater presentation of Sanditon what did you think? Was it faithful to Austen’s vision? Did you enjoy it? Why or why not?

Yes, I felt the PBS Sanditon was faithful to JA’s start of a novel. I enjoyed it. My favorite character was James Stringer the young builder. He would have been the hero of the story for me.

I enjoyed PBS's Sanditon as well. I agree with you, Kathy. I was rooting for Young Stringer to be Charlotte's beau. Despite his later "good behavior," I couldn't get past how mean Sydney was to Charlotte. I think his initial rudeness bodes ill for Charlotte in the future.
